You don’t have to be a member of our leisure centre or have visited us before to get involved in our Big Open Weekend, so why not bring your friends and family along too?

Free Swimming Lesson Taster Sessions

Enjoy a free swimming lesson taster session and dive into the fun of learning new skills in the water! Taster Swimming Lessons suitible for everyone including; beginners, improver and adults.

Fitness Activities

Saturday & Sunday.

Our friendly gym and fitness team will be on hand to help, show you around and provide free, on-the-spot inductions where you get chance to get on some of the equipment and make yourself familiar with the centre.

We can also provide you with a FREE Boditrax Scan: This is an amazingly clever system that assesses your body and, very quickly, delivers 14 different measurements, such as your ideal weight, your BMI and your metabolic age, as well as your fat and muscle mass. It's completely free to use, and you can also get a free review of your results.

Fancy seeing if you can beat our instructors or yourself? We will be hosting Gym Floor challenges as well as additional Group Exercise Classes throughout the day, so there will be something for everyone.

Racquet Sports

Why not join us for a game or two, or to pick up a racquet for the first time and learn a new skill? 

Pickleball

Turn your hand to one of the fastest growing sports in the world. Pickleball takes elements from Badminton, Tennis and Table Tennis creating a fun and challenging racquet sport. 

Badminton

Badminton is a fast-paced racket sport played as singles or doubles. Players hit a shuttlecock over a night aiming to land it in the opponent's court without being returned back. Badminton requires speed, agility and precision.

Soft Play

Sunday: 12pm - 1pm

Watch your little one run, jump and slide their way around our Soft Play. As well as burning off that extra energy, they will delve into their imagination and develop their motor skills, while building confidence and learning through play.

Les Mills Pilates Pilates class focuses on strength, stability, posture, proper breath control, and flexibility. Each class will work to balance all muscle groups' strength and flexibility, with an emphasis on challenging the core muscles with each movement. Classes will be taught using slow, controlled movements.
