Make a Splash!

Fox Hollies Leisure Centre has a traditional 25m pool, which is suitable for the whole family or ideal for the keen swimmer.

It also boasts a small pool with shallow water, perfect for introducing the children to swimming.

The Centre hosts plenty of activities ranging from general swimming to fun play and splash sessions; swimming parties to swimming courses and aqua aerobics.

We have a variety of different swim sessions with something for everyone, whether that be our Family Swim sessions, Adults Only or Ladies Only sessions.  Check the timetable to see what we're running each day.

Swimming Sessions

Early Bird Sessions

Start your day with an early, refreshing swim. The main 25m pool is open for Early Bird Sessions Monday to Saturday 07:00 - 09:00 and Sunday 08:00 - 09:00.
 

Lane Swimming

Lane siwmming is available during all early bird, lunchtime and evening swimming sessions. Please refer to the code of etiquette for lane swimming, which is displayed in the main 25 metre pool area.
 

Swimming Lessons

Junior and adult lessons are run regularly so you can learn to swim in pleasant surroundings with a qualified teacher. Lessons range from beginners to advanced, with all abilities in between.

Aquafit

A fun water based aerobic class, using the water as resistance to give you an alternative option to exercise.

 

Swimming Pool Etiquette and Parental Supervision

  • Shower before entering the pool
  • Babies must wear swim nappies
  • Swim within your ability – use equipment and buoyancy aids if required
  • Do not swim if feeling unwell
  • Inform a lifeguard if you have any medical conditions
  • Look out for yourself and others while in the pool
  • Be aware of danger - sudden pool depths or slippery surfaces
  • Listen out for the emergency alarms or lifeguard instructions
  • In the interest of hygiene, upon entering the changing village or poolside area the blue shoe covers provided must be worn over outdoor shoes
  • Children under the age of 8 must be supervised in the pools and the changing rooms by a responsible person 16 years of age or over on a 2 to 1 ratio.
  • All children under the age of 4 must be supervised in the pools and changing rooms by a responsible person 16 years of age or over an a 1 to 1 ratio.
